Guidelines

Everything you need to know before submitting your manuscript to Caesurae.

Authors who submit their work must register as members of the journal. Registration is free. You are required to sign up with a password and login only — no membership fee applies to journal submissions.

Every submission must be accompanied by the following:

  • Membership details — your registered member profile.
  • Brief CV of the author along with a photograph.
  • Covering email mentioning the nature of the manuscript submitted.
  • Copyright permissions for any artwork, music clips, or illustrations by others used within the manuscript. All permissions must be obtained by the author prior to submission.
  • Translation approvals — in case of literary translation, authors are required to obtain relevant copyright approvals. The editors of the journal will not be held responsible for any copyright infringement.
  • Plagiarism and AI check report — all submissions must be accompanied by a report confirming originality.

Manuscripts sent to the journal must be original and must not have been published elsewhere. A Declaration of Copyright — stating that the article and ideas are the author's own intellectual property — is required at the time of submission.

Copyright for the manuscript rests with the author. However, written intimation must be given to the Managing Editor in the event the author wishes to republish with any other publisher.

Peer Review Timeline: The peer review process may take 4 to 6 months. Correspondence pertaining to the status of a manuscript will not be entertained during this period.
