We are inviting creative expressions — poems, stories, paintings, and graphic novels — on the theme of Fragrance of Letters.
Inviting contributions on the theme of Cultural Translations of Buddhism in Asia.
We welcome contributions on music, poetry in performance, paintings, perspectives on performing arts, and interviews with artists. Any artiste interested in coverage with Caesurae is warmly invited to write to us.
This issue the Translation Section will feature two parts: Translations and Critical Essays on the theme. We accept translations into English only. Copyright permissions for all translations must be obtained by the contributor and shared with the editors prior to submission.
Articles on oral histories, creation myths, temple architecture, paintings, folk songs, and other forms of Cultural Translation in the hills are welcome.

This section is dedicated to contributions by young scholars and students. Please mark your submissions to the section editors.
We invite reviews of academic books, along with perspectives and reports of events, for this section. Book reviews may be submitted at any time of year. Reviews should include an introduction, a survey of existing literature on the subject area, a chapter-wise analysis of the book's content, and a note on the quality of research.
Word count: 1,500 – 2,000 words
The Special Feature for this issue is themed around the forthcoming Caesurae Conference in March 2026. We will be publishing selected presentations from the conference alongside essays from contributors who are unable to attend. Perspectives on the conference theme from both participants and non-participants are welcome.
